The welding bed shown above is designed to turn any 1988-2025 Chevy/GMC 3500 DRW long-bed pickup into a beast of a rig. This bed is most notable for classic Canadian-style build, with a large cabinet up front, and fender storage in the rear. It's primary purpose is to help you maximize your rig's amount of onboard tool storage, while streamlining your work process.

Features:

From the back of the cab-forward, this bed features a Canadian Box (30"L X 90"W X 57"H) with an internal dual-oxygen bottle holder. Behind that is a universal sized welding machine recess in the deck (60"L X 27"W X 3"D) with a cover for those wanting a flush setup. It also features 2 rear fender boxes are (19"L X 15"W X 13"H). The factory rear hitch can still be used with this design.

What you Get:

Upon purchasing this set of plans you will receive: A 79 page .pdf layout detailing all of the cuts, components, plates & assemblies, as well as a 1 page .pdf bill of materials listing everything you'll need for the build. There is also an optional upgrade to include the .dxf CNC files of all sheet metal components that can be cut on a plasma table or laser.
