Description:

The welding bed shown above is designed to turn any 2003-2025 Ram 3500 DRW long-bed pickup into a beast of a rig. This bed is most notable for classic Texas pipeliner style construction, with a recessed deck in the front and raised rear work deck. It's primary purpose is to help you maximize your rig's amount of onboard tool storage, while streamlining your work process.

Features:

From the back of the cab-forward, this bed features a dual-oxygen bottle holder, and a single-acetylene bottle holder. Behind that is a universal sized welding machine recess in the deck (60"L X 27"W X 3"D) that is straddled by two front deck boxes (27"L X 11"W X 8"H). In addition to that, this bed also features 2 rear deck boxes (43"L X 23"W X 22"H) as well as a trunk box (24"L X 30"W X 7"H).

What you Get:

Upon purchasing this set of plans you will receive: A 74 page .pdf layout detailing all of the cuts, components, plates & assemblies, as well as a 1 page .pdf bill of materials listing everything you'll need for the build. There is also an optional upgrade to include the .dxf CNC files of all sheet metal components that can be cut on a plasma table or laser. Will these plans fit my truck?

Each set of plans is drawn for a specific truck and bed length, listed in the product title. Not sure which plans fit your truck? Contact us and we'll point you in the right direction.

Can you modify a design for my truck?

In many cases, yes. Whether we can depends on the specific changes you're looking for, so contact us with the details and we'll let you know what's possible.

What files are included with my plans?

Every set of plans includes a detailed .pdf build plan and a .pdf bill of materials. Upgrade to the Fabricator's Package to add .dxf CNC cut files, or to the Manufacturer's Package to get all of the above plus a .step 3D model file.

Will the cut files work with my plasma table or laser?

Yes. The .dxf format is the industry standard and works with the vast majority of CAD/CAM software used by CNC plasma tables and lasers. If your machine needs a different file type, additional specialty formats are available upon request. Just contact us.

Can I build more than one bed from a set of plans?

Absolutely. There's no limit. Build as many beds from a single set of plans as you'd like, including beds you build to sell.

Can I share the plans with someone else?

Plans may be shared only with those directly helping you build, such as your employees, coworkers, or a third-party shop manufacturing parts for you. Sharing or distributing the plans outside of your build team, or reselling the files, is strictly prohibited.

How fast will I get my files?

Instantly. As soon as you complete checkout, you'll receive an email with a download link to a folder containing all of your files.

What if I get stuck mid-build?

Just reach out to us for tech support. Most issues are quick fixes, and we're happy to walk you through any part of the plans.

Do you offer refunds?

Because our plans are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final. However, if a set of plans contains an error that affects how the bed is built, we'll issue a full refund. (Minor typos, such as in a title block, don't qualify.)
