1988-2024 GM 2500/3500 Welding Bed W/ Canadian Box

Description:

The welding bed shown above is designed to turn any 1988-2024 Chevy/GMC 2500 or 3500 SRW long-bed pickup into the ultimate welding rig that boasts a tons of onboard dry-storage. This bed is most notable for it's large Canadian box and the use of it's reinforced oxygen bottle holder as a welding machine stand. It's primary purpose is to maximize the efficiency of your rig, and allow you to easily carry everything you'll need to the job site and back.

Features:

From the back of the cab-forward, this bed has a large Canadian style box (32"L X 80"W X 60"H), with a central pass-through upper section for storing longer tools. As you move back, there is a dual-bottle oxygen holder, a 74"L X 80"W deck, rub rails with stake pockets, and two rear fender boxes (28"L X 9 1/2"W X 20 1/2"H). It also features an integral gooseneck hitch and the factory hitch can still be used with this design.

Upon purchasing this set of plans you will receive: A 47 page .pdf layout detailing all of the cuts, components, plates & assemblies, as well as a 1 page .pdf bill of materials listing everything you'll need for the build. There is also an optional upgrade to include the .dxf CNC files of all sheet metal components that can be cut on a plasma table or laser.
