1988-2024 GM 2500/3500 Utility Bed W/ Headache Rack

The utility bed shown above is designed to turn any 1988-2024 Chevy/GMC 2500 or 3500 SRW short-bed pickup into a sleek looking show truck or a capable work rig. This bed is most notable for it's tapered construction and large front box that will hold just about any tool you can think of putting in there. It is designed to help you do whatever you do, wherever you do it, and however you do it.

Features:

From the back of the cab-forward, this bed has a large pass-through box that is 36"H X 12W" on the sides, with a central pass-through section (20"L X 55"W X 15 3/4"H) for storing longer tools. As you move back, there is a 68"L X 80"W deck and two rear fender boxes (27"L X 12 1/2"W X 20"H). And in the tail, there is a 48 1/2"W X 3"H door to access and under-belly ramp, as well as a recessed license plate box. The factory rear hitch can still be used with this design.

Upon purchasing this set of plans you will receive: A 40 page .pdf layout detailing all of the cuts, components, plates & assemblies, as well as a 1 page .pdf bill of materials listing everything you'll need for the build. There is also an optional upgrade to include the .dxf CNC files of all sheet metal components that can be cut on a plasma table or laser.
