1988-2024 GM 3500/4500 Welding Bed W/ Utility Boxes

Description:

The welding bed shown above is designed to turn any 1988-2024 Chevy/GMC 3500 or 4500 DRW long-bed pickup into a hybrid-style service truck. This bed is most notable for it's high amount of onboard storage, coupled with it's ability to carry a large welding machine. It's primary purpose is to help get you (and any tool you could dream of bringing) to the job site and back, while making the best use of all the real estate that comes with a dually. 

Features:

From the back of the cab-forward, this bed has a 30"L X 90"W welder bay, with a 71"L X 80"W deck. As for boxes there are, two front fender boxes (34"L X 16 1/2"W X 21"H), two deck boxes (45"L X 14"W X 14"H), and two rear boxes (31 3/4"L X 14"W X 35"H). The factory rear hitch can still be used with this design. 

What you Get:

Upon purchasing this set of plans you will receive: A 32 page .pdf layout detailing all of the cuts, components, plates & assemblies, as well as a 1 page .pdf bill of materials listing everything you'll need for the build. There is also an optional upgrade to include the .dxf CNC files of all sheet metal components that can be cut on a plasma table or laser.
